Metal Repair

A controlled structural repair system for rigid metal. Mix true 1:1, build it past the damage, clamp it — takes load in 24 hours.

01The compound

XE-S300-1 is a two-part structural epoxy. Resin and hardener mix in a true 1:1 ratio — blended to one uniform color, no streaks — and cure into a hard, waterproof body.

03The method

The method is the product.

1 · PREPARE
Clean, dry, sanded — in that order.
2 · PURGE
Purge the cartridge until both sides flow even.
3 · MIX — TRUE 1:1
One uniform color, no streaks.
4 · BUILD
Build past the damage — extend 0.5–1″ beyond every edge. 1/16–1/8″ thick for small repairs; 1/8–1/4″ for load-bearing.
5 · ALIGN
Set the parts in position.
6 · CLAMP
Clamp it through the set. Bring your own clamp.
7 · CURE
Hands off for 3–4 hours. No load before 24 hours.

04Honest limits

The repair won’t be invisible — but once cured, it takes load.

Not for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE, silicone, soft or flexible parts, fuel and brake lines, exhaust manifolds, or pressure-critical and safety-critical repairs. If it is safety-critical, replace the part — don’t bond it.

05Longevity

“Fix it tonight. Back to work tomorrow.”

Questions

How long until I can use the part?+
Up to 30 minutes working time, 3–4 hours initial set, and 24 hours before the repair takes load.
Can I drill, sand, or paint it after curing?+
Yes — after 24 hours the cured body machines like metal. Drill it, sand it, paint it.
Do I need a glue gun?+
No. A push rod is in the box and does the job. An AB glue gun is optional.
What if the repair fails?+
Follow the method card — if the repair fails within 30 days of delivery, you choose a full refund or a free replacement box. How to claim →
